(from our December Christmas dinner)
4 cups apples peeled and diced
1/2 cup walnuts
2 tablespoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons sugar, feel free to add more sugar to taste
Place all of the ingredients in a bowl and toss until apples are covered with the cinnamon and sugar. Place mixture in a blender and pulse several times. Do not over process, leave some apples chunky. Place in a serving bowl and refrigerate until serving.
Serve with crackers and pita bread toasted and cut into quarters.
