Dutch Oven Potatoes

8 potatoes, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced and chopped
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
1-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (optional; I use 1 cup)
4-5 sliced bacon, chopped

Place sliced potatoes in crock pot.  Top with everything.  Stir.  Cook on high 5-7 hours.  Stir occasionally.
