Parmesan Chicken Salad

(from our December Christmas dinner)

8 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1-1/4 cups mayonnaise
3 cups seedless red grapes, halved
1-1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
2 cups Parmesan cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Combine shredded chicken, mayonnaise, grapes, almonds, cheese, salt, and pepper.  Mix well.  To serve, spread salad evenly over one side of croissant, pita, or bagel. Keep refrigerated until serving.
